Summer Workout Plan High School Students Get Free Gym Access at Planet Fitness

As the school year wraps up and the summer sun begins to blaze, high school students across the nation are getting a unique opportunity to stay active without breaking the bank. Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the U.S., has rolled out an enticing offer for teens aged 14 to 19. Beginning June 1, Planet Fitness is granting free gym memberships as part of their High School Summer Pass program. This initiative, which extends until August 31, aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among the youth during their school break.

Signing Up Is Simple and Accessible

For interested teens, registering for this opportunity is straightforward. They can either sign up online or visit their nearest Planet Fitness location. However, it’s important to note that minors—those younger than 18—will need a parent or guardian to sign an online waiver or to accompany them for in-person registration at the gym.

Once signed up, teens will need to download the Planet Fitness app. This app is not just a digital hub for fitness tracking and resources; it also serves as the gateway to their digital club pass. To maintain a community-oriented atmosphere and ensure a consistent fitness experience, participants must use the gym location where they initially registered.

An Affordable Path to Fitness for Everyone

This summer’s free membership offer is part of Planet Fitness’s broader commitment to making fitness both affordable and accessible to a wider audience. In line with this commitment, Planet Fitness recently adjusted its membership pricing. The cost for the Classic membership has been raised from $10 to $15 a month, though it remains a competitively priced option in the fitness industry. Meanwhile, the Black Club membership, offering additional amenities and access to multiple locations, remains steady at $25 a month.

High School Fitness: Planet Fitness’s Summer Pass

Planet Fitness’s High School Summer Pass is more than just a free membership; it’s an invitation for young people to cultivate healthier habits and build a fitness routine that can last a lifetime. This program not only provides a safe and structured environment for physical exercise but also encourages teens to take responsibility for their health and wellness.

As summer approaches, Planet Fitness stands ready to welcome a new generation into its welcoming, judgment-free zones. For high school students looking to kickstart their fitness journey, there could hardly be a better time to step up and shape up.

This innovative approach not only addresses the common summer break decline in physical activity among teenagers but also aligns with Planet Fitness’s mission to foster a lifelong passion for health and fitness. So, as the days get longer and the opportunities for leisure multiply, teens now have a perfect chance to make health and wellness a priority—at absolutely no cost.
